Canberra Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFFS) Station Upgrade Project

Airservices Australia invites proposals from tenderers to upgrade Canberra Airport's Fire station. The upgrade will include providing additional new building footprint and upgrades to and repurposing of the existing infrastructure to support the level of service to our customers
Tenderers must direct any questions regarding the Request for Tender (RFT) to the following email address: Procurement_ARFF@airservicesaustralia.com
The following are conditions for participation for this RFT:
The following are mandatory requirements for Tenders to this RFT:
(a) The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the Tender must not be named
as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth);
(b) Tenderers must comply with the National Construction Code 2016 Building Code
of Australia (Building Code) and the Supporting Guidelines, for Commonwealth
Funding Entities dated February 2013 (Guidelines). It is also a condition for
participation in this RFT that, at the time of lodgement of the Tender, the Tenderer
must not be:
(i) Precluded from tendering for Australian Government funded work;
or
(ii) Subject to a judicial decision against them relating to employee
entitlements, not including decisions under appeal and have not
paid the claim.
(c) If the Tenderer’s response indicates that the value of the works is $4 million or
more (inclusive GST) then it is a mandatory requirement that Tenderers are
accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS
Scheme and / or is in the process of obtaining such accreditation and will achieve
accreditation by the indicative contract commencement date as detailed in Part 3
Statement of Requirement of the RFT; and
(d) The Tenderer must attend the site visit as specified under Item 5.
If a Tenderer’s Response fails to meet the above conditions for participation for this RFT Airservices Australia will exclude the Response from further consideration.
