Design and Mgt of John Allwright Fellowship Program
The John Allwright Fellowship (JAF) is one of two of ACIAR’s Capacity Building offerings that are part of the Australia Awards. The fellowship provides the opportunity for partner country scientists involved in ACIAR-supported collaborative research projects to obtain postgraduate qualifications at Australian tertiary institutions. The primary aim of the scheme is to enhance research capacity in ACIAR’s partner country institutions through Fellows PhD or Masters postgraduate study in Australia.
ACIAR seeks to develop and implement a mandatory program for all new JAF Awardees to enhance their research and scientific competency with skills in executive leadership and management.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, comply with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the Workplace Relations Act 1996 (Cth) and obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
The requirement is for a two-year program commencing Semester 1 2019
