Provision of video conferencing equipment, installation and support in regional and remote areas

The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), through its Indigenous Affairs Group (IAG) has carriage for improving the lives of Indigenous Australians through increased participation in education and work, making communities safer where the ordinary rule of law applies, and working closely with other Australian Government Departments to lead efforts to ensure mainstream policy, programs and services deliver benefits to Indigenous Australians.
To enable it to undertake this role IAG supports some 600 staff across some 100+ offices across Urban, Regional and Remote Australia.
PM&C is planning to publish a Request for Tender (RFT) in Q3 FY18/19 for the supply, integration and support of a Video Conference and Collaboration solution (Solution) for the IAG to address day to day operational issues and constraints to longer term business transformation activities.
PM&C has a preference for a single provider with regional and remote capability to deliver and support the solution. It expects that 42 units will be required across 32 sites, many of which are regional and remote locations. Phased Solution implementation is planned to commence prior to the end of FY18/19.
