Business and Industry Expertise Multi-use List

The Australian Taxation Office is seeking to establish a Multi-Use List (MUL) of experts interested in providing practical business and industry expertise to help the ATO deliver services that match the contemporary practices of large businesses.
The Business and Industry Experts (BIE) MUL embraces a wide range of consultancy and professional services (the Services) for the provision of practical business and industry expertise including:

industry specific expertise, for example banking and finance, insurance, energy and natural resources, e-commerce, international finance
-
governance
-
risk management
-
financial audit and assurance
-
finance and treasury
-
accounting
-
taxation
We may require the Services from members of the MUL. The Services required from members of the MUL will be in the context of the large business tax compliance functions of the ATO.
Providers will be remunerated for services provided under the MUL.
The BIE MUL is continuously open to new applicants with experience and expertise in the categories identified above and in the Applicant Pack
Technical
Applicants must possess a minimum of ten years’ experience in senior roles in working with large businesses (having annual turnover greater than A$2 billion) in the following areas:
· senior business or industry roles
· provision of industry specific expertise
· business, industry or professional associations
· tax advisory

Additional Conditions of participation are included in the Request for Inclusion Applicant Pack. These Conditions of Participation correspond to particular Commonwealth Policies that preclude agencies such as the ATO entering into certain procurement contracts with certain organisations
Any application that does not comply with all the Conditions for Participation will be excluded from consideration.
Inclusion on the BIE MUL will not constitute a guarantee of work, nor can membership of the list be used to imply that a business is a supplier to government or has any preferred position.
