Edinburgh SA Air Show - Ticketing
On Sat/Sun 9 & 10 November 2019, RAAF Base Edinburgh in the northern suburbs of Adelaide SA will host a major military Air Show including approximately 5 hours of flying each day and numerous ground displays. The Air Show Team is seeking an experienced provider of ticketing services to ticket the event online, provide staff for at-gate ticket sales (maximum 6 windows), and provide staff to scan tickets at the entry gate (10 lane entry). The requirement includes supply of any required ticketing and scanning equipment. Daily ticket sales reports will also be required.
Event Details
Flying displays will commence with historic and vintage military aircraft, and following a lunch break, will resume with current military assets.
Attendance by 30-50,000 people on the airfield is anticipated on each day (Total 60-100,000 over the weekend).
The show will open each day at 0900, with flying concluding at approximately 1600. The show will conclude with a concert by the Air Force Rock Band.
Ticket Prices (exclusive of online booking or credit card fees)
Online: $30 Adult / $10 Child under 16 (under 5 free) / $60 Family (2 Adults + 2 children under 16) / VIP Package $200 (limited numbers and includes access to exclusive hospitality venue, lunch and beverages). All online tickets include free travel on public transport (Tram/Train/Bus) to the Venue gate.
Tickets at the gate: $35 Adult / $15 Child under 16 (under 5 free) / $70 Family (2 Adults + 2 children under 16). Note that VIP packages are not available at the gate.
Ticket sales are expected to commence on 1 Jul 2019. Noting that a family ticket includes four people, a crowd of 100,000 is expected to result from approximately 70,000 tickets.
Driving to the Air Show
Disabled parking will be available on RAAF Base Edinburgh adjacent to the Venue Entry and Exit gates (entry via the Fourth Ave gate Edinburgh).
Parking for all other vehicles will be outside the Base in car parks established to the South of the Base off Edinburgh Rd and Kaurna Ave Edinburgh, and to the North of the Base off Andrews Rd Penfield. Patrons will then be transferred to the show via free shuttle buses.
Conditions of Entry
The Air Show is an alcohol-free event.
The Air Show is a smoke-free event (including e-cigarettes).
Glass containers are not permitted.
Pets or other animals other than guide and service dogs are not permitted.
Vehicles or transportation devices, including without limitation any motorcar, motorcycle, motor scooter, bicycle, segway, scooter, skateboard, roller skates or roller blades, are not permitted, with the exception of wheelchairs or mobility scooters where required in connection with a disability or an impairment.
No radio transmitting equipment is permitted. However, non-transmitting radio receivers/scanners are permitted.
Strobe lights, laser pointers, and similar light emitting devices are not permitted.
Radio/remote controlled devices are not permitted.
Any item or substance capable of being used as an offensive weapon, including any type of firearm, projectile or ammunition is not permitted.
Any type of knife or bladed item, including pocket knife, offensive weapon or implements such as extendable batons, or any item modified into a weapon or replica or imitation weapon is not permitted.
Fireworks, flares, pyrotechnics, smoke canisters or similar are not permitted.
Hazardous substances including powders, pastes, chemicals, irritants, toxic substances and gas canisters are not permitted.
Illegal drugs or substances similar to illegal drugs are not permitted.
Inappropriately messaged clothing, banners, posters or material of any kind displaying inappropriate political and/or religious images/writing; offensive race related messages, slogans or images; offensive slogans or images as deemed by Event Staff, is not permitted.
Any other object, device, substance or item that Event Staff considers dangerous, hazardous and/or illegal, or that may be used as a weapon or missile, or that may compromise or otherwise interfere with the safety or enjoyment of, or pose a hazard to, any person, including security, at the Venue, will not be permitted.
All patrons attending the Air Show should note that they will be subject to security screening and bag checks, and that patrons in possession of items not permitted into the event may be refused entry, or the items will be confiscated and disposed of as there will be no facility to hold/cloak such items.
Advertising/Marketing
Advertising and marketing of the Air Show by the Supplier through their email lists and on the their website is anticipated.

Potential Suppliers must submit Responses using the Response to the ATM form provided (with all details in English and prices quoted in Australian currency).
Ticket sales are anticipated from 1 July 2019 until 10 November 2019
