Establishment of a Panel of providers for recruitment services of scientifically skilled personnel

The Department is seeking to establish a Panel for the provision of professional recruitment services for a range of scientific, technical and associated skills under labour hire (casual or term) arrangements. These services will be required at various locations throughout Australia, and particularly at NMI’s Sydney and Melbourne facilities. NMI is expected to be the primary user of the Panel and therefore most of the required labour hire will relate to the development and delivery of measurement services, and in particular to the delivery of analytical laboratory services. However, labour hire companies able to supply skills in other scientific or technical areas, including regulatory areas, are invited to apply, noting that limited numbers of non-scientific staff are likely to be needed over the life of the Panel arrangement.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth).
The tenderer confirms that in dealing with its employees and independent contractors, the tenderer has due regard to Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, and complies with Commonwealth policies on the engagement of workers, including the obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and relevant work health and safety laws.
The tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the tender are not insolvent, bankrupt, in liquidation, or under administration or receivership.
It is anticipated that the panel arrangement will be in place for two years with 2 one year extension options.
