Maintenance, Monitoring and Support Activities for Existing Telephone and WiFi Services in Remote Indigenous Communities
The Australian Government is continuing the significant investment in telecommunications infrastructure in remote Indigenous communities. The Government requires the successful tenderer to support phone and WiFi services and monitor their operation.
The successful tenderer will be required to maintain, monitor and support:
· up to 301 free standing and wall mounted satellite community WiFi enabled telephones (WiFi Telephones); and
· up to 245 freestanding and wall mounted ordinary telephones (Community Payphones);
· and store and ship equipment (and service, upon request) as needed for up to twenty four (24) additional remote communities.
Some communities have more than one type of telecommunications infrastructure. A listing of the infrastructure to be serviced under the contract
The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at the Closing Time (see paragraph 6.9).
The Tenderer must not have had an adverse Court or Tribunal decision, not including decisions under appeal, for a breach of workplace relations law, work health and safety law, or workers compensation law and the Tenderer has not fully complied or is not fully complying with the order.
The period of the contract is for 3 years.
