The Contractor is to provide:
• a managed IP telephony service across all AMSA offices, including phone, voicemail, fax, conference calls, video calls and unified communications functionality;
• call centre services for the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) (at both the Braddon and DRF locations) and AMSA Contact Centre (at Braddon); and
• Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) with AMSA’s incident management system – Nexus, for JRCC staff.

The Contractor must provide a suitable solution for the transition from the current IP Telephony system to the new IP based telephony services with highly available and resilient system architecture. It is expected that these IP based services will seamlessly integrate with AMSA’s chosen unified communications platform, Microsoft Lync 2010/Skype for Business, as well as provide the core infrastructure and service in order to maintain call centre functionality within the organisation. All of AMSA’s sites are in the scope for transition to the new IP voice services. The sites currently in scope for IP telephony transition and ongoing support are listed within the RFT Statement of Requirement (Attachment 1).
