Battlefield Aviation Program Industry Update for Avalon Air Show 2019
Please find attached to this AusTender notification a letter from the First Assistant Secretary of the Helicopter Systems Division and the Head of Land Capability, which contains updates on the following Army Aviation projects:
- LAND 4503 Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter Replacement
- LAND 2097 Phase 4 Special Operations Rotary Wing Capability
- LAND 129 Phase 3 Tactical Unmanned Aerial System Replacement or Enhancement.
In addition to the above updates, a LAND 129 Phase 3 capability paper is attached to this letter. This capability paper contains instructions on registering for one on one meetings with the LAND 129 Phase 3 Project team at the Avalon Air Show on 28 February 2019 after the Industry Brief. The Industry Brief and one on one meetings for LAND 129 Phase 3 are designed to provide information to industry as it becomes available. Any statements made at the Industry Briefing and at the one on one meetings are for information only, do not represent a guarantee that a Request for Tender will be released and/ or a contract will be awarded and cannot be relied upon as the Department of Defence's proposed approach is subject to change.
