Defence Intelligence Organisation Request for Information on ICT Capabilities
The Defence Intelligence Organisation (DIO) seeks industry input to identify Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) capabilities relevant to the operations of a strategic level, all-source intelligence agency. The information received as a result of this process will inform the development of DIO's ICT Consolidation and Modernisation Plan and broader capability development efforts.
In seeking your response, the Commonwealth wishes to ensure that this planning and decision making occurs with the full benefit provided by your organisation. No procurement activities have been approved to proceed in connection with DIO at this stage.
DIO seeks industry advice on available and innovative ICT tools, functionality, applications, and operating strategies related to, but not limited to, the following broad capability areas:
- Requirements Management
- Information Management
- Customer Relationship Management
- Information Collation, Fusing and Analysis
- Modelling and Simulation
- Analytical Collaboration
- Business Intelligence and Mission Governance
- Product Management and Dissemination
Respondents are invited to contact the Address for Lodgment and who will provide a set of Use Cases outlining potential DIO business processes. Respondents are to submit written documentation outlining how their proposed capabilities meet DIO's needs.
On the basis of their written documentation, respondents may be invited to schedule a presentation at which they can demonstrate their proposed capabilities to DIO ICT capability planners. Respondents are advised that all submitted documentation may be shared among capability developers throughout the National Intelligence Community.
This is a market research exercise and not a procurement exercise. The Commonwealth will not down select or exclude any companies from future participation in DIO capability development activities based on their participation in this process. This notice or completion of this process does not represent a guarantee of future work in any format. No procurement activities have been approved to proceed in connection with DIO at this stage.
