ANMM Maintenance Store

The ANMM has identified the necessity for the replacement of the current Sea Water Heat rejection equipment, with the proposed installation of Cooling Towers in a dedicated plantroom. These systems are used to cool the HVAC equipment and systems.
The Cooling Tower plantroom is to be located in the current FASSS Workshop at the northern end of the ANMM building. To enable this, the maintenance staff and their equipment is to be located to this proposed FASSS Maintenance Store.
The proposed FASSS Maintenance Store is to be constructed in the now obsolete Dark Room and adjacent space of the Photography Laboratory in the northern end of L1 of the Wharf 7 building, and accessed independently from doors to the wharf lane. As part of this contract, modification to the Photography Laboratory will required fitout works here.
Vendors are to attend a mandatory an on-site briefing:

Attendance at the on-site briefing is mandatory as it will assist the tenderers to gain sufficient understanding of the project’s specific requirements, in the existing space, site-specific WHS matters, parking, and general logistics of this project.
- The Tenderer’s attention is drawn to the Code for Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Code 2016). The Code replaces the Commonwealth Building Code 2013.

- Vendors must demonstrate compliance with the following mandatory criteria:
Compliance with the Invitation, including compliance with Conditions of Tender (signed Returnable Schedules)
Public Liability Insurance* - $10M (See Returnable Schedule 3)
Contract Works Insurance (See Returnable Schedule 3)
Workers’ Compensation Insurance (See Returnable Schedule 3)
Satisfactory financial stability – the recommended tenderer will be required to demonstrate adequate financial stability to undertake the works. At a minimum, submission of last two years’ audited and signed financial statements of the contracting party will be required to be submitted to the museum’s Head of Finance (HOF).
* Vendors must provide either a copy of the contractor’s current insurance certificate or a letter from their insurer confirming the contractor’s ability to obtain such insurance should they be awarded the contract.
