Multimedia technology installation services for the Sir John Monash Centre
The Commonwealth intends to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Multimedia Technology Contractor to undertake the development, supply, installation and commissioning of the following:
a. a centralised multimedia server system (media and audio);
b. wireless and cabled networks;
c. beacons or other equivalent user tracking technology;
d. display hardware including leading edge flat-panel displays and screen mounts in various sizes, touch displays and infra-red backed touch tables, localised spatial recognition cameras and projectors (estimated approximately 320 individual UHD (4K) screens and 10 projectors);
e. cabled infrastructure;
f. show-control software which controls the sequencing of lighting and other theatrical elements of the interpretive design;
g. ambient and directional speakers;
h. video distribution systems; and
i. loan smartphone devices.
This Request for EOIs (REOIs) is the first stage of a two stage procurement process to select a Multimedia Technology Contractor (Contractor) to provide the Services. DVA will shortlist Respondents from the EOI process who will be invited to submit a tender in the second stage, the Request for Tender (RFT). A failure to respond to this REOIs will result in a potential supplier not being eligible to participate in any subsequent RFT process.
This REOIs is an invitation only and the submission of a response by any Respondent will not give rise to process or other contractual obligations, expressed or implied.
Subject to its rights under paragraph 4.5, however, DVA may at any stage in this evaluation process:
a. issue a limited RFT to one or more short listed Respondents or
b. proceed directly to contract negotiations with one or more short listed Respondents.
a. the Respondent (or any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (see EOI paragraph 5.3)
b. the Respondent (or any of its proposed subcontractors) must not be named on the list of persons and entities designated as terrorist under the Charter of United Nations (Dealings with Assets) Regulations 2008 and
c. the Respondent must not have a judicial decision against them (not including decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements for which it has not paid the claim.
