Description:

The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Mechanical Services for a (CDSCC).

Other Instructions:

Tenderers must attend the mandatory site inspection at CDSCC on 13 March at 9am to be considered for this tender.

Tenderers are required to register for the site by emailing CSIRORFT2019018@csiro.au by the 11th of March 2019 to be considered for this tender.

Mandatory Requirements

Tenderers must attend the mandatory site inspection at CDSCC on 13 March at 9am to be considered for this tender. Tenderers are required to register for the site visit by emailing CSIRORFT2019018@csiro.au.

The electrical and controls package, including electrical connections to existing CDSCC switchgear, shall be provided by a nominated supplier, as ALC controls are specified at CDSCC for compatibility with the existing controls on site. A copy of the CDSCC electrical connection drawing is included at Attachment A, Appendix D. The nominated supplier is Electrical Solutions in the ACT. Contact Tony Mc Evilly on 0418625928 (tony@electricalsolutionsact.com.au).If information is needed, tenderers are only allowed to discuss the technical requirements of the work to be carried out on the CDSCC site.

The complete installation and all works being carried out shall comply with the requirements and regulations of all Statutory Authorities and Codes relevant to the works.
Any other authority having jurisdiction over all or part of the installations to ensure that the equipment and installation, when manufactured and installed, shall comply with the relevant rules and regulations.
Tenderers will comply with the HSE requirements
The Tenderer will be required to seek and receive Live Voltage electrical connection approval from ACTPLA.
