Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships

The Rural and Regional Enterprise Scholarships Program (the Program) is intended to improve access to and completion of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) tertiary education courses for students from regional or remote areas in Australia.
The Program will support at least 1200 undergraduate, postgraduate and Vocational Education and Training (VET) students to undertake a STEM qualification (Eligible Course of Study).
The Services required are management of the scholarship rounds, assessment processes, as well as other administrative services required by the Department are to be delivered in accordance with the model below:
Phase 1: Planning;
Phase 2: Application Management;
Phase 3: Assessment Process and Notification to Applicants;
Phase 4: Awarding and Monitoring of Scholarships;
Phase 5: Management of Internships;
Phase 6: Reporting on Program Implementation and Outcomes; and
Phase 7: Program Administration.
Phases 1–3 will be repeated for each scholarship round. Phases 4–7 will continue for the length of Scholarship Recipients’ Eligible Courses of Study, projected to conclude, at a maximum, by the end of the 2027 academic year.
The Tenderer exists as a legal entity at Closing Time
The resultant contract is expected to commence on 13 October 2017 and conclude on 13 October 2022, with options to renew beyond that point.
