UPS devices protect all of the ICT equipment contained within the sites IT LAN Rooms and patching closets which includes back end infrastructure and third party equipment such as the Telstra Networking and Telephony Devices (Cisco VOIP Phones, Routers, and Switches, etc.) and the Department's Servers. Other Commonwealth agencies may use this arrangement.

- The Tenderer must confirm that the UPS devices (referred to as "units") it would supply to the Department pursuant to the contract meet the relevant Requirements set out in Table 7 (Response to technical Evaluation Criteria) of Attachment B (Response Schedules) to Schedule 3 (Information to be included in Tenders) which are indicated in columns 4 to 7 of that table as "Mandatory" or "M" (and which are highlighted in yellow).
- Tenderers must confirm that the UPS devices it would supply to the Department pursuant to the contract meet the relevant Australian standards set out in the following rows of Table 7 (Response to technical Evaluation Criteria) of Attachment B (Response Schedules) to Schedule 3 (Information to be included in Tenders):
- A10 Compliance and Certification requirement 10.1; and
- B10 Compliance and Certification requirement 10.1.
- Tenderers must confirm that they offer to provide the Requirement to other Commonwealth Entities in accordance with all of clause 11 in Part 1 of the RFT.
