The Department of Jobs and Small Business is seeking applications to deliver Employment Facilitator Services for the Regional Employment Trials Program 2018-2020. Employment Facilitator Services will assist job seekers in trial regions to access localised employment services and economic growth opportunities. The program commences on 1 October 2018 and concludes on 30 June 2020.
The Regional Employment Trials (RET) Program will support local stakeholders in selected disadvantaged regions to develop and implement tailored projects, in partnership with existing Employment Services providers that address local employment issues and gaps. These projects are supported through a $1 million per region Local Employment Initiative Fund.
Employment Facilitators will work with Regional Development Australia (RDA) Committees and assist local stakeholders to develop local employment related projects, and support the Regional Employment Trial Program and its activities in the RDA Region. Each Employment Facilitator will be an adviser on employment matters to the RDA Committee and support projects funded through the Local Employment Initiative Fund.
Employment Facilitators will act as a liaison with the wider community to connect job seekers with relevant employment and training programs. They will work with jobactive, Transition to Work and ParentsNext providers to help job seekers access employment opportunities.
The Regional Employment Trials Program will commence from 1 October 2018 in 10 identified RDA Regions, including five new Employment Facilitators in the below regions relating to this tender:
- Northern Inland, New South Wales;
- Far South Coast, New South Wales;
- Wide Bay Burnett, Queensland;
- Murraylands and Riverland, South Australia; and
- Yorke and Mid North, South Australia
Respondents will need to demonstrate their strategies to deliver effective, high quality Employment Facilitator services that meet the needs of job seekers, employers and industry in the RDA Region(s).

SUBMITTING YOUR RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST FOR TENDER
In accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules, the Department has advertised this approach to market on the AusTender website. However, all responses must be submitted through the 360Pro system. 360Pro is the tool the Department has mandated for use in this process.
