Description:

Reserve Bank's fibre cabling network evolved as a decentralised system and has grown organically in line with the high-demand applications consuming data, voice and video.The Bank intends to carry out a Datacentre Fibre cabling modernisation project with below objectives.

1. Resilient datacentre fibre cabling infrastructure to keep IT services secure and available

2. Ability to scale up quickly to increasing business application requirements and bandwidth

3. Centralised design provide simpler installation and patching practices

4. Reduced management overhead and transparent health check reporting

5. Efficient utilisation of space within Datacentre facilities
