Provision of Paint Finishing Services to Bronze Plaques
Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart
The Office of Australian War Graves (OAWG) is part of the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and is responsible for the official commemoration of those whose deaths have been attributed to their war service.
Those veterans whose deaths have been accepted as war related are generally commemorated by means of an individual headstone, plaque at a grave site, in a Garden of Remembrance or at a crematorium and these commemorations are maintained in perpetuity by OAWG.
The purpose of this ATM is to engage a panel of suitably qualified contractors for the provision of paint finishing services at civil cemeteries, crematoria and OAWG sites around Australia. This is to ensure that OAWG official plaques are maintained to a high standard, appropriately commemorating these servicemen and women for their service and sacrifice.
