Description:

The Department of Education and Training (the Department) invites Tenders for the provision of services for the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), AMEP Quality Assurance, the Skills for Education and Employment program (SEE) and SEE Quality Assurance, previously known as Independent Verification.

AMEP provides English language tuition for eligible adult migrants and humanitarian entrants to assist them to successfully settle and confidently participate socially and economically in Australia.

SEE provides language, literacy and numeracy training to eligible job seekers to help them participate more effectively in training or in the labour force.

Quality Assurance services for both AMEP and SEE will include onsite and offsite portfolio verification, review of curriculum, professional development and development and delivery of training resources to assist providers to meet their contractual obligations.

The Department will be seeking to engage Australian Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to deliver the AMEP and SEE General Services. Tenderers submitting for the Quality Assurance (QA) services for AMEP or SEE are not required to be an RTO, however RTO status would be an advantage.

Tenderers should note that this is the final approach to market for these Services. The terms of this RFT, including the Schedules and Attachments, contain changes from the draft RFT released on AusTender on 9 August 2016.
