Procurement of Personnel Safety System (PSS)

The Machine PSS system was originally installed and put to service in 2005 and most of the documentation from the tendering process was kept and it is available.
The scope of the contract is to design, install, integrate and test hardware equipment that will replace the existing 2 safety PLCs and associated IO (input/Output) modules. Contract includes the provision of the hardware.

Tenderers must complete and submit all Returnable Documents and Schedules.
Tenderers must complete and submit Schedule 2, the Pricing Schedules separately from all other Schedules.
Tenderers must confirm that they have not made any false declarations in respect of any current or past dealings with the Commonwealth, including in any tender process or in any contract for services.
Tenderers must confirm that they have had no significant deficiency in the performance of any substantive requirement or obligation under any prior contract with the Commonwealth which would materially adversely affect the Tenderer’s ability to deliver the Services as detailed in this ITO.
Tenderers must have the ability to acquire (prior to entering contract negotiations) the required Insurances as specified in the tender documents and/or Contract documents attached to this RFT.
Tenderers must confirm that they and their subcontractors have not been named as not complying with the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act 1999.
Tenderers must have certified functional safety engineering staff in their schedule of key personnel (either through TUV Rheinland or Equivalent)
Tenderers must Be an approved System Integrator for their proposed PLC platform.
Tenderer’s project manager must have project management experience of similar scale integration projects within the last 5yrs
Tenderer’s will be required to attend Compulsory Briefing session on site at Synchrotron in Clayton / Victoria on the 2nd July 2018.
