Description:

The ABS is seeking tenders for the provision of services in two parts, related to the production of these price indexes:

Part A. The production of information to be used to update the structure, weights and price collection of the price indexes.

This is is a one-off service which is expected to be completed by the end of December 2017 and is to be completed in conjunction with at least one region of the Part B Services.

Part B. The provision of prices (unit rates) for a set of construction items on a quarterly basis in all capital cities, plus North Queensland.

Part B is an ongoing service commencing with the provision of prices for the March quarter 2018. It is anticipated that this contract will be for a period of three (3) years with further one (1) year extensions of up to a maximum of two (2) years in total.
