RFT 17/624 Insulated Water Tank

• An insulated potable water tank of approximately 600,000 litres capacity is required for Davis Station, Antarctica.
• The Statement of Requirement calls for the supply of a suitable internally insulated 600,000 litre potable water tank of proven design, the generation of a materials list, the manufacture and/or supply of all required components, construction and maintenance manuals and packaging for shipment to Antarctica. The tank will be erected in Antarctica by the Australian Antarctic Division employees however some project management/technical support during the construction phase in Antarctica will be required.

The supply of Services is to be provided in accordance with the Statement of Requirement (SoR) in Schedule 1 of the RFT and subject to the terms and conditions set out in, or referred to, in RFT 17/624 Insulated Water Tank. Neither the lowest nor any tender may necessarily be accepted. The AAD reserves the right to abandon or terminate any aspect of the RFT at any stage if it is not in the public interest to proceed. Late tenders will not be accepted and Tenders forwarded by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Tenderers should note that the Draft Services Agreement is indicative of standard terms and conditions that will form the basis of a formal agreement only and any contractual arrangement with a preferred tenderer will be subject to change. The AAD reserves the right to consider alternative terms and conditions of contract.
All the components for the insulated 600,000 litre potable tank must be delivered to the AAD Cargo and Biosecurity Centre at Macquarie Wharf No. 2, Hunter St, Hobart, Tasmania no later than COB on Monday 18th December 2017 to meet proposed shipping schedules.
