Description:

The MEX beamline requires two state of the art, low vibration, high stability, water cooled, fixed exit, double-crystal monochromators (DCM) to enable highest quality fluorescence and transmission X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) experiments across a wide photon energy range.

The Supplier shall design, supply, install and functionally commission the DCM's at the Australian Synchrotron (AS). The DCM's shall have a design life of at least 10 years duration.
