Mission Planning System Support Services
The DMO is releasing an open Approach to Market (ATM) seeking responses from contractors/service providers for the provision of support services for the Mission Planning System (MPS).The MPS is an element of the Air Component – Command and Control Capability System (AC-C2CS) and comprises a range of products introduced into service to support military operations at the tactical, operational and strategic levels.
The various products have been acquired over a period of time and from a variety of sources, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Australian developed products.
MPS supports the planning, preparation, management and reporting of military operations from both fixed and deployed locations. Key functions include:
- Operations and Planning;
- Air Combat Support;
- Air Movements;
- Aeronautical Information;
- Tactical Mission Planning; and
- Mission Execution and Debrief
The effort required to support the Mission Planning System is driven by the system standardisation, unique support requirements and system integration. In addition to systems sustainment, the contractor will be required to providing training and full-time onsite support at key locations around Australia, including Nowra (NSW), Richmond (NSW), Williamtown (NSW), Bungendore (NSW), Amberley (Qld), Townsville (Qld), Edinburgh (SA), and Bullsbrook (WA).
This DMOESD/RFT0129/2013 ATM replaces DMOESD/0013/2013 ATM to enable electronic tender response submission via AusTender website.
