The whole-of-government Mobile Panel is for the provision of mobile carriage services, end-user-devices and supplementary mobile services.
It is mandatory for Non-Corporate Commonwealth Entities (NCCEs) to use this arrangement to purchase mandatory components. Commonwealth Corporate entities (CCEs) and state bodies may opt in.
The mandatory components under the Mobile Panel are: National mobile voice and data carriage services, mobile handsets, tablets and broadband devices.
The non-mandatory components are: supplementary mobile carriage services, i.e. international voice/data roaming and satellite carriage, satellite handsets and products, mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (mVoIP), mobile phone accessories, mobile management solutions, wireless access solutions, mobile APP development and bulk SMS.
