Description:

The Department of Defence is seeking to replace separate contracts for commercial helicopter and ground-based rescue services with a Joint Search and Rescue (SAR) Contract for the provision of SAR services to the whole of the ADF, and to ADF- sponsored foreign units visiting Australia. Defence intends to engage the market via a Request for Information to identify capability options, technologies and additional considerations relating to the Joint ADF SAR Contract.
