PacificAus Sports: Community is designed to leverage community-level participation in sport as a platform to achieve development outcomes across the Pacific. The program will target gender equality, disability inclusion and health outcomes through sport. PacificAus Sports: Community will build on the success of Australia’s existing sport for development program, Team Up which is due to conclude in 2026. The geographic scope of the program will expand from the current 7 Team Up countries (Fiji, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, and Vanuatu) to also include the Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Palau, the Republic of Marshall Islands, and Tuvalu.
