Exercise Control (EXCON) Support Industry Event
Commonwealth and Raytheon Australia will be running a joint industry event to advise of future opportunities for the provision of key aircrew personnel to provide tactical and operational support for Live and Synthetic training activities. The key personnel shall support the following Australian Defence Force Exercise Control functions: concept development, mission design, mission management, exercise design review and lessons and exercise support as required by the Commonwealth. The requirement is for 3 of each of the following key personnel positions (15 total): Mission Director, Battle Management Co-ordinator, Scenario Co-ordinator, Operations Co-ordinator and Air-to-Surface Coordinator.
This event will be held at Williamtown, NSW on 28 August 2019. Industry members wishing to attend are to contact Raytheon at beverley.kerr@raytheon.com.au for registration prior to 1200 hours on 27 August 2019.
Any individual proposing to providing EXCON Support services has to:
The key personnel are required to:
1. have the ability to obtain Negative Vet 2 Security Clearance;
2. to meet Australian Eyes Only (AUSTEO) criteria;
3. be based at Williamtown NSW; and
4. have current or previous defence experience as pilots, aircrew, intelligence and/or operations officer.
