Provision of Mending Military Minds Acquired Brain Injury Pilot Evaluation Services
The primary purpose is to develop improved service responses to veterans and their family members where any have a presentation which may indicate symptoms of a neurocognitive disorder (NCD) or holds concerns about their cognitive functioning.
The pilot program is designed to enable clients to access appropriate psychosocial assessment, cognitive screening, and where necessary, a comprehensive neurological assessment. Recommendations from the assessment should form comprehensive treatment oriented plans tailored needs where veterans and their family members will be provided with appropriate counselling and mental health options.
