DDG Repairable Item Services
Request for Tender (RFT), for a standing offer arrangement to enable the Commonwealth to acquire Repairable Item Services to support the sustainment of the DDGs and potentially other Defence platforms. Repairable Item services include Preventative and Corrective maintenance for items removed from the DDG. The categories of Repairable Items include:
a. Pumps and Compressors
b. Valves and Actuators
c. Motors (electrical)
d. Electrical and Electronic Components
Tenderers may tender for the supply of the Services for one or more of the parts in one or more of the Subcategories. It is not a requirement for a Tenderer to be able to provide the Services for all items in a subcategory.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the Tender briefing will via a prerecorded video.
The proposed standing offer contract term is 2 years plus an option for the Commonwealth to extend for a further 2 +1 years for a total five (5) year term
The Tenderer’s participation or involvement in any stage of the RFT process is at the Tenderer’s sole risk, cost and expense.
On request by the Commonwealth, the Tenderer is to comply with the Commonwealth security clearance and accreditations process as detailed in Principles 23, 40, 72 and 73 of the DSPF, including obtaining the level of security clearance and accreditations required by the Commonwealth.
In accordance with the Black Economy Procurement Connected Policy (Black Economy Policy), a Tender is to include all of the satisfactory and valid STRs required from the Tenderer in accordance with that policy.
