UNIFORM, ACCOUTREMENT AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SUPPLY AND MANAGEMENT SERVICE
The Department of Home Affairs is seeking to engage a single supplier for the supply and management of uniform, accoutrement and personal protective equipment to the Australian Border Force (ABF) and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) (the Requirement) under a managed service arrangement. The Requirement includes design, sourcing/manufacture, supply, warehousing, fitting, tailoring, distribution and inventory management to Portfolio offices and locations as specified.
The Department will be holding an Industry Briefing at 2pm (local time in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory) on 12 November 2020 at the AFP Edmund Barton Building, Kings Avenue, Barton ACT 2600.
Tenderers may nominate not more than two (2) representatives to attend the briefing. Tenderers wishing to attend the briefing must:
- no later than 11am (local time in Canberra ACT) on 10 November 2020, make arrangements with the Contact Officer for attendance of their representatives; and
- have their representatives report to the nominated officer at the location for the industry briefing at least 15 minutes before its commencement.
The Department reserves the right to conduct security vetting and other screening of persons wishing to attend the industry briefing and site inspection.
Attendance at the industry briefing is not compulsory.

The proposed term of the contract(s) will be for an initial period of five (5) years with the option to extend for a two (2) further periods of one (1) year each. If all extension options are utilised, the maximum contract period will be seven (7) years in total.
