The Chemical Reference Values team requires a replacement freeze-dryer capable of preparing bulk freeze-dried units of food, biota and biological materials for reference material production and proficiency testing.
Detailed technical specifications and system requirements are provided in the Approach to Market (ATM) under A.A.2 The Requirement.
This Approach to Market was previously listed on AusTender under CON006440, and has been re-listed due to changes in the requirement surrounding delivery date cut-offs.
The successful tenderer must include delivery, full installation, set up, commissioning and training for a minimum of 3 of the Customer’s Analysts. The training must be delivered onsite and cover the use of software, routine maintenance, method development and troubleshooting. The training must be sufficient to allow the Customer’s operators to run the instrument independently at the end of the training period. Follow up onsite support is to be provided if required.
The instrument is to be delivered and installed at the Customer’s National Measurement Institute (NMI) laboratory at North Ryde NSW. During system installation, the tenderer must accept and remove a Virtis Genesis 35EL freeze dryer.
No Conditions for Participation Specified.
The instrument will be delivered no later than 10 weeks after execution of the contract with the successful tenderer.
