The Commonwealth Department of Health is seeking to engage a qualified supplier to provide secretariat services to the national Newborn Bloodspot Screening Program Management Committee.
Services sought include:
- Arrange and manage virtual meetings;
- Support a new way of working for committee members by providing and managing an online platform for collaborative work;
- Collate, organise and distribute papers, prepare agendas;
- Take minutes and prepare action items, maintain a Work Plan;
- Draft summaries of expert clinical discussions; and
- Manage membership and associated documents.
Respondents must provide a detailed description of their proposal to supply the Requirement, including a draft project plan, draft communication plan and proposed methodology.

Supplier capacity and experience: Suppliers must have:
- experience in supporting multi-jurisdictional, multi-disciplinary committees;
- experience in minute taking for clinical and health system discussions;
- in-house back-up personnel to ensure capacity; and
- experience in supporting a committee to move to a fully digital platform.
The Response must:
- be in English and measurements must be expressed in Australian legal units of measurement.
- be submitted using the Response Form below. Supplementary information may be supplied as attachments.
- include a draft project plan setting out the proposed timeframe for key steps.
- include a draft communication plan for establishing and managing stakeholder relationships.
- include a proposed methodology for delivering the core secretariat services.
