Services Australia (the Agency) is responsible for the administration of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

Under the PBS, a range of stationery items is printed and dispatched to medical practitioners, dentists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, midwives, hospitals and other health professionals nationally

• PBS Stationery items include but are not limited to:

• prescription forms (personalised and non-personalised):

• Repeat Authorisation forms;

• Safety Net cards; and

• envelopes.

• The Agency requires:

• processing of orders placed through the Agency’s ordering system for stationery items;

• printing and production of all PBS Stationery items ordered, including personalisation, monitoring of tracking system, sequential numbering and security features where specified;

• secure storage and inventory control;

• order fulfilment, packaging and dispatch;

• telephone and email help desk support;

• reporting capabilities;

• relevant security processes and procedures, and

• relevant governance and relationship management procedures

:

1. The Tenderer must either:

(a)    hold a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record by the Closing Time of this RFT; or

(b)    have a Statement of Tax Receipt demonstrating that a Statement of Tax Record has been requested from the Australian Taxation Office by the Closing Time of this RFT and holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record no later than 4 Business Days from the Closing Time of this RFT,

A Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record must be held for each of:

(a)    if the Tenderer is a company, the Tenderer company;

(b)    if the Tenderer is a trustee, the relevant trust;

(c)    if the Tenderer is a partnership, the partnership and each partner that is directly involved in the delivery of the Requirement; and

if the Tenderer is part of a consolidated group for income tax and/or GST for taxation purposes, the income tax group head and/or GST group representative.

2. The Tenderer must hold a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record for any first tier subcontractor that it proposes, as part of its Tender, to engage to deliver the Requirement with an estimated value of over $4 million (GST inclusive).
