PROVISION OF CONSTRUCTION SERVICES – Lot Fourteen, McEwin ASDC & MC and Level 2 Fitout

This is a South Australian Government Tender. URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY trading as Renewal SA, is seeking to appoint a Building Contractor to deliver the fitout of the Australian Space Discovery Centre & Mission Control (ASDC & MC) to the Ground Floor and partial fitout of Level 2 of the State Heritage listed McEwin Building to a 6-star Green Star v1.2 Basebuild rating, at Lot Fourteen, the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site. The procurement methodology will be a traditional Lump Sum fixed price tender with two separable portions. The Form of Contract will be an amended version of AS2124-1992 with a Formal Instrument of Agreement which is detailed in Part C of this Invitation to Supply.
The Australian Space Discovery Centre (ASDC) will be a publicly accessible space discovery centre that captures the hearts and minds of the Australian community to engage with an expanding national space sector. A centre where the Australian community, students and visitors will have a unique opportunity to engage with the latest innovations in space technologies and expand their understanding of Australia’s role in national and global space activities and missions.
Mission Control Centre (MCC) will be collocated with ASDC. MCC will provide a platform for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and researchers to control small satellite missions and to provide access to space enabled data. The Mission Control Centre will also support joint national and international projects led by the Agency.
