Education, learning and training services on business continuity, business interruption and disaster recovery planning

The successful applicant will be required to develop and deliver 5 half-day learning workshops in capital cities and key regional centres across Australia, with an option to extend for additional workshops, on practical and engaging information on business continuity, business interruption and disaster recovery planning. The maximum number of participants per workshop is estimated at 25.
The successful supplier will supply materials and assessment tools relevant to the learning outcomes for participants and to support the effectiveness of workshops. However, the successful supplier will not be required to provide a venue for each workshop where the Customer will arrange a suitable venue in all potential delivery locations.
The workshops should include sector specific insights and examples and case studies relevant to the participants (i.e. from the region or sector in which workshop participants operate in).
Learning outcomes for workshop participants:
The overarching outcomes of these workshops are to raise awareness of the importance of business continuity planning and help small business to access information and support to plan for and recover from direct and indirect interruptions to their businesses. This will be achieved through;
- Disaster/business interruptions preparedness and planning
- Immediate considerations in the first few week following a disaster or interruption to your business
- The steps to recovery
- Long-term disaster recovery
- Business exit strategies

The Department expects an initial contract term of 2 months.
