** PRE-RELEASE NOTICE **
This Notice is intended to notify industry of the upcoming release of two Requests for Tender (RFT).
The Commonwealth will be releasing two RFTs for Regional Maintenance Providers to provide maintenance management services for Navy at HMAS Cairns and Henderson, respectively. Each RFT will seek an industry partner to provide maintenance management services including:
1. establish robust, reliable and resilient supply chains in the respective region;
2. liaise with the Commonwealth and suppliers to program, coordinate and verify maintenance delivery to meet demand;
3. drive implementation of standardisation and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of sustainment delivery; and
4. work with local industry to support the continued development of sovereign sustainment capability over time.

The Regional Maintenance Providers will be working with Commonwealth personnel as part of a Regional Maintenance Centre. Regional Maintenance Centres are a key part of a new, innovative approach to Naval sustainment in response to the opportunities presented by Continuous Naval Shipbuilding.
The attached Word document provides further detail on the proposed procurements. Please note this document is provided for information only and does not form part of the proposed future RFTs. Information within it should not be relied upon in developing responses to the proposed future RFTs, as requirements may change.
The Department of Defence intends to hold an industry briefing shortly after each respective RFT release. Details will be provided in the formal release documentation, and through Austender Notification updates.
