**** RELEASE OF INVITATION TO REGISTER (ITR) PACK ****
Defence is releasing its ITR pack to procure a hazardous chemicals register database and unlimited user licencing arrangements that meets its technical/functional requirements and offers best value for money.
Defence requires both a self-hosted and a cloud-hosted instance. Defence is intending to procure specialist services from the product's supplier which will support information that will be loaded onto the register (eg safety data sheets), provide training, and provide limited system support to Defence administrators and ICT specialists. Defence intends to acquire a product that is scalable to a large organisation, for 100,000+ users and which allows multiple users to access the system at any time.
Industry Briefing: Defence will hold an Industry Briefing on Wednesday, 18 March 2020, at the Bendora and Googong Room, Ground Floor, 35 Brindabella Circuit, Brindabella Business Park, Canberra Airport precinct at 1000 hrs (ACT local time).
- Solution must meet Australian Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) (WHS Regulations) requirements for hazardous chemicals reporting and storage, including Schedules 7-18 inclusive of the WHS Regulations;
- Company must be able to produce Australian Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals compliant safety data sheets;
- Company must offer Australian-based help desk and technical support; and/or
- Company must offer both a Defence Protected Network-hosted solution for classified information and an Australian-based cloud hosted solution for unclassified information.
