The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), through this RFT, is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of electrical services to upgrade the electrical distribution system on Deep Space Station 43 (DSS43) at the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC).
The existing electrical distribution systems serving the existing transmitters on DSS43 are inadequate for the planned new X and S band transmitters on that antenna. They will be removed when the transmitters are replaced, and a new distribution configuration installed

The main project is to install new high-powered X and S Band transmitter systems on DSS43, to replace the existing systems and increase X-band transmitter power. A key element of the project will remove the bulk of the existing power distribution system and replace it with a new system.
