The Department is seeking to establish a panel of providers for the provision and sustainment of X-Ray, Trace and Substance detection technologies.

The panel will allow the Department to:
 -Establish agreements for the ongoing maintenance of the existing fleet of X-Ray, Trace and Substance Detection Technologies to ensure ongoing operational capability
 -Establish agreements for the provision of required parts and consumables that are necessary to support ABF in operation of X-Ray, Trace and Substance Detection Technologies to enable detection of prohibited goods and border controlled substances
 -Establish arrangements that will allow for the refresh of obsolete or unserviceable X-Ray, Trace and Substance Detection Technologies for the term of the panel
 -Establish arrangements that will allow for the provision of new X-Ray, Trace and Substance Detection Technologies for emerging ABF sites
 -Identify new and emerging X-Ray, Trace and Substance Detection Technologies and technology providers.

An industry briefing will be held at 1:30pm (Canberra Local Time) on 11 November 2019 at The Department of Education 50 MC Theatre, 50 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra ACT 2601. The industry briefing will be broadcast via webcast. Attendance either in person or via webcast is highly recommended. A recording of the webcast will be released after the event. i. The Tenderer must not have had any judicial decisions against it (excluding decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and have not satisfied any resulting order.

ii. The Tenderer, its personnel and any subcontractors proposed in its Tender must not be listed as terrorists under section 15of the Charter of the United Nations Act 1945 (Cth).

iii. The Tenderer, its personnel and any subcontractors proposed in its Tender must not be named in the consolidated list referred to in Regulation 40 of the Charter of the United Nations (Dealing with Assets) Regulations 2008 (Cth).
