Cape Northumberland Lighthouse Refurbishment
AMSA is seeking a turnkey solution from a Contractor to undertake the refurbishment works to the Cape Northumberland Lightho
The scope of works for this project includes:
a. Repaint of all internal and external surfaces of the lighthouse
b. Refurbishment of the balcony
c. Refurbishment of the stone structure
d. Refurbishment of the internal accessways
e. Refurbishment of the lantern room
f. Reglazing of the lantern room
g. Refurbishment of the ancillary building
h. Establishment of a temporary AtoN
i. Electrical works
j. Ancillary Works
Tenderers to Note: There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for 2 June 2022.
Prequaificaton for the site vsiist is due no later than 31 May.
Tenderers must meet the following conditions for participation in this ATM:
1. The Tenderer must hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) or an Australian Registered Body Number (ARBN)
2. The Tenderer or their designated sub-contractor must hold accreditation under the Painting Contractor Certification Program to Category A – Classes 3 and 5A
3. The Tenderer must have business management systems certified as compliant with:
a. AS/NZS ISO 9001
b. AS/NZS 4801 or ISO 45001
c. AS/NZS ISO 14001
4. The Tenderer must attend the mandatory site visit
The project must be completed prior to 30 June 2023 including acceptance of the completion report by AMSA.
