Australian National Maritime Museum Electrical Switchboard, Protection Equipment and Submains Upgrade

The Australian National Maritime Museum (ANMM) is seeking to appoint a Contractor to perform Works involving the upgrade of electrical switchboards, protection equipment and submains at its exhibition building and Wharf 7 Maritime Heritage Centre buildings.
The Works are necessary to replace electrical infrastructure that has reached the end of its effective life, address safety risks to persons using electrical equipment in high risk areas and achieve compliance with current standards and codes, in particular the National Construction Code (NCC) 2019 and AS/NZS3000 2018, Wiring Rules.
Tender Briefing
A non-mandatory briefing will be conducted at 10:00 AM on 30 July 2020 at the ANMM Exhibition Building. Tenderers must attend the main entry foyer and make themselves known to a representative who will direct the tenderers to the briefing location.
A limit of two persons from each organisation may attend the briefing. Tenderers must confirm their intention to attend the briefing by completing Attachment 1 to the Tender Response Schedules, titled "Intention to Respond".
The "Intention to Respond" form must be submitted via e-mail to the Contact Person via e-mail prior to 5:00 PM (Australian Eastern Standard Time) three business days prior to the briefing date.
The tenderer must satisfy the following mandatory criteria in order to be considered for further assessment:
a) The tenderer must provide financial statements (i.e. balance sheets and profit loss statements or their equivalents) for the past three years that have been signed by a company director of the tenderer or an external accredited accountant;
b) The tenderer has established a WHS management system that is based on the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 as amended;
c) The tenderer has implemented a quality assurance system that is based on ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management Systems or equivalent; and
d) The tenderer has implemented an environmental management system that is based on ISO 14001:2015, Environmental Management Systems or equivalent; and
e) The tenderer (including the nominated personnel) must have delivered similar electrical works (without the need to outsource or subcontract any of the services) to a cultural organisation during the past three years.
