RAN Magnetic Treatment Facility
The Commonwealth is conducting an Industry Briefing in relation to an upcoming procurement activity. Project SEA1350 Phase 2 is seeking to acquire and install a sovereign Overrun Magnetic Treatment Facility (MTF) capability, as well as the associated support systems required to sustain the capability until 2045. Specifically, the Commonwealth is seeking to acquire an Overrun MTF capability solution that delivers magnetic treatment to all current and future surface combatants and submarines with a threshold size of the Hunter Class frigate and an objective size of the Canberra Class amphibious ships. An Industry Briefing in respect to this procurement is scheduled to be held on Thursday 6 February 2020 in Canberra, Australia. Respondents must register an expression of interest to attend this briefing by emailing sea1350ph2.mtf@defence.gov.au no later than 12:00PM AEST 28 January 2020. Attendance is capped at a maximum of four (4) representatives per respondent.
