Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program 2020-2022
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is seeking submissions from organisations and individuals interested in delivering Employment Facilitator and Support Services for the Local Jobs Program (LJP) in 14 Employment Regions across Australia.
On 1 September 2020, the Australian Government, as part of the economic response to COVID-19, announced the $62.8 million Local LJP in 25 Employment Regions.
The LJP supports the development and implementation of tailored approaches to accelerate reskilling, upskilling and employment pathways across the 25 Employment Regions throughout Australia.
Facilitators will drive the delivery of the LJP in their region by working with local stakeholders to improve employment and training opportunities for job seekers affected by COVID-19. Facilitators will also chair and work with the Local Jobs and Skills Taskforce to develop a Local Jobs Plan.
The Support Officer will assist the Facilitator to deliver the LJP and also provide secretariat services to the Taskforce.
