ARFFS Radio Communications Systems
Airservices provides Aviation Rescue Firefighting Services (ARFFS) at 27 locations around Australia under the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), of Australia, Regulation 139h.
A range of radio communication systems are utilised by the ARFFS for the purpose of effectively responding to and managing incidents at an aerodrome.
This RFP has been issued with the objective to identify a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to deliver radio communication systems, as a managed service, to meet ARFFS requirements.
The scope of the RFP includes the design, support and provision of systems to provide:
1. UHF (Ground - Ground) Communications;
2. VHF Airband Communications; and
3. VHF Marine Band Communications.
