The Energy Group is responsible for supporting the reliable, affordable, sustainable and secure operations of energy markets.

Through this RFT process, the Department intends to establish a single panel for the provision of Energy Business and Technical Services.

The Department invites suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Tender to this RFT process, to provide Energy Business and Technical Services to the Department, to support the Energy Group’s work program.  There are nine Category of Service streams under the proposed Energy Business and Technical Services Panel.  Tenderers may nominate in their Tender to provide to the Department Services under one or more of the Categories of Service over the life of the Energy Business and Technical Services Panel.

:

Tenderers are invited to attend an industry briefing. Expected timing is:
• Tuesday, 30 June 2020 (via online) 2:30pm Canberra time
• Thursday, 2 July 2020 (via online) 10:30am Canberra time

Tenderers who choose to attend a briefing session must register for one of the two sessions by Thursday, 25 June 2020 by emailing the Contact Officer at ebtspanel@industry.gov.au. This will ensure the Department has the necessary online capacity available for the industry briefing. Tenderers who register will be sent details for participating online 48 hours prior to the session. The Department anticipates the briefing, including questions, will take between one to one and half hours.

For tenderers who are unable to attend the industry briefing, a copy of any additional information provided at the briefing will be available on request and a full addendum will be published on AusTender.

:

1. The Tenderer must not have had any judicial decisions against it (excluding decisions under appeal) relating to employee entitlements and have not paid the claim

2. The Tenderer and any subcontractors proposed in the Tender must not be named as not complying with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Cth) as at the Closing Time.

3. The Tenderer either:
(i) holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record by the Closing Time; or
(ii) has a receipt demonstrating that a Statement of Tax Record has been requested from the Australian Taxation Office by the Closing Time, and holds a Valid and Satisfactory Statement of Tax Record no later than four (4) Business Days from the Closing Time.

4. The Tenderer must exist as a single legal entity at the Closing Time.

:

The anticipated initial term of the Energy Business and Technical Services Panel is three (3) years with options to extend for periods up to two (2) years.

:
Tenders must be lodged electronically using AusTender.
