Pre-release Notice – Provision of Parking Management Services

This is a pre-release notice to provide advance notification that the NCA is preparing to approach the market for the provision of Parking Management Services (‘the Services’).
The approach to market documentation for the Services will be released through AusTender, anticipated in August 2026, or soon thereafter.
The NCA administers the pay parking arrangements on National Land in the ACT (approximately 9,000 parking spaces in the Parliamentary Zone, Acton and Russell) on behalf of the Australian Government. The NCA will be seeking a qualified service delivery partner to deliver the Services.
The Services are broad ranging and include:
- Supply, installation, maintenance and management of parking systems
- Validation and ticketing hardware/software
- Parking fee collection
- Compliance and infringement administration
- Customer service support for parking enquiries and issues resolution
Without limiting the NCA’s rights, if it were to contract at the conclusion of the planned procurement process, its intention is to enter into a single contract with a single legal entity that will be the party responsible for the provision of the required Services.
Prospective tenderers should regularly check AusTender for updates, and not approach the NCA or NCA personnel.
This is only a notification for an upcoming Request For Tender (RFT)
