Description:

The Australian Government has announced it will accelerate the creation of a Sovereign Guided Weapons Enterprise. Building the Enterprise is a complex undertaking and Defence will work with Australian industry, Small to Medium (SMEs) and academia and weapons suppliers in its design and development to deliver the required sovereign guided weapons capability. The Enterprise will provide the enabling ecosystem to support Defence’s inventory of guided weapons and explosive ordnance. The Enterprise comprises multiple capability elements including manufacturing, research and development, education and training, test and evaluation, maintenance and repair, storage and distribution, and disposal. You are invited to provide a response to Request for Information LSD/RFI/20354/1 in relation to the proposed Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise.
