Defence Space Situational Awareness Networking Event
The Wide Area Space Surveillance Systems Program Office - Space Situational Awareness Sub-Program invites industry and academia to join us for a Space Situational Awareness event – Networking among the stars.
Presentations will be provided by the Royal Australian Air Force, Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group and Defence Science Technology Group about our current (and emerging) understanding of the space situational awareness environment.
This will be followed by an opportunity for registered industry and academia to give a 10 minute one-on-one presentation to Defence representatives on their latest and emerging capabilities. This will allow Defence to better understand industry capabilities but is not intended to be an opportunity for industry to ask defence questions around its future program or needs.
This event is free for industry and academia and will include a number of opportunities for the participants to expand their networks across the Space Situational Awareness domain. Due to venue size Defence requests that organisations limit their attendance to 3 participants per organisation unless approved prior.
Format for the day:
0830 - Start – Coffee/ Tea
0900 – Defence presentations
1030 – Morning tea & networking
1100 - Industry One on One Presentations - 10 minutes each, pre-registration is required.
1200 – Lunch & more networking
1230 – Close / One on One sessions continue, if required, due to level of registered Industry interest.

• Name of organisation
• Names of Participants (up to 3)
• Indication on if you would like to provide an Industry presentation to Defence.
• Any special dietary requirements
Defence will contact participants who have indicated they would like to provide a presentation prior to the event with details of timings.
