Vegetation Management Services for the Indian Ocean Territories Power Services (IOTPS) on Christmas Island
The Department is seeking to engage a provider for the provision of regular vegetation management (vegetation clearing, weed spraying and tree clearing services) around the electricity generation (power station) and distribution network (power lines) on Christmas Island to mitigate the risk of power supply interruption and damage to the electricity distribution network.
A non-mandatory site inspection will be provided for Potential Suppliers on Wednesday, 30 January 2019 commencing 9:30am (WA local time).
Potential Suppliers who wish to attend the site inspection should register via email to the Contact Officer no later than Friday, 25 January 2019.

The Supplier must confirm that it will utilise operators that have (or at the relevant time will have) up to date certification, accreditation and machinery operation qualifications, where required by law.
The Contract will remain in force for a period of 3 years.
